1. Open the Cloud Document entry

Entry path: Edit button at the lower right → + icon on the bottom toolbar → Cloud Document

  1. Open a smart document.
  2. Tap the Edit button at the lower right.
  3. Tap the paragraph where you want to add the cloud document.
  4. Tap the + icon on the bottom toolbar.
  5. Tap Cloud Document.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Cloud Document selection screen opens.
  • What you can do next: You can browse files saved in cloud space and continue selecting one.

Tips While Using

  • You need to enter editing mode first before the related entry appears on the bottom toolbar.
  • It is helpful to tap the target paragraph first so the inserted content appears in the expected position.

2. Select and insert a file from cloud space

  1. Open the Cloud Document entry by following the steps in the previous section.
  2. Browse the list of files saved in cloud space.
  3. Select the file you want to insert.
  4. Confirm the insertion into the current document.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected cloud document appears at the current paragraph position.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing the body content or insert more content.

Tips While Using

  • Supported file types include WPS Writer, Spreadsheet, and Presentation files.
  • The target file must already be saved in cloud space. Local files that have not been uploaded do not appear in this entry.

  1. Copy an accessible cloud document link.
  2. Open the smart document and enter editing mode.
  3. Tap the target position in the body.
  4. Paste the cloud document link into the body.
  5. Wait for WPS to recognize it as a cloud document.
