1. Create a Content Protection Zone

Entry path: Insert → Content Protection Zone

  1. Place the cursor where you want to protect content.
  2. Click Insert on the top menu bar.
  3. Select Content Protection Zone.
  4. Enter or edit the text inside the protected area.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A separate content protection zone appears in the document.
  • What you can do next: You can type inside the protected zone and continue editing other normal areas.

Tips While Using

  • Content protection zones work well for fixed statements, clauses, and notices.
  • Images, tables, and other complex elements are not supported inside the protected zone.

2. Create a Content Protection Zone with a Slash Command

Entry path: Type “/” in a paragraph → Content Protection Zone

  1. Type / in a paragraph to open the quick menu.
  2. Enter Content Protection Zone or nrbhq.
  3. Select Content Protection Zone from the suggestions.
  4. Edit the content inside the new protected zone.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The slash menu inserts a new content protection zone.
  • What you can do next: You can start typing in that area right away.

Tips While Using

  • This method is useful if you often work with slash commands.
  • If the option does not appear, confirm that you are editing in a smart document area.

3. Turn Off a Protected Area

Entry path: Click the content protection zone → Cancel Content Protection Zone

  1. Click an existing content protection zone.
  2. Click Cancel Content Protection Zone at the lower-right corner of the zone.
  3. Confirm that the area returns to normal text.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The original protected boundary or protected state disappears.
  • What you can do next: The text in that area can be edited like normal text.

Tips While Using

  • After you turn it off, the area no longer keeps its protection property.
  • If you need protection again, insert a new content protection zone.
