1. Insert a Content Protection Zone with a slash command

Entry: Document editing area → type / → select Content Protection Zone

1. Open the document and place the cursor where you want to add the protected zone.
2. Type / on a blank line.
3. Select Content Protection Zone from the quick menu.
4. You can also type /nrbhq to locate the feature faster.
5. Enter the content that you want to protect inside the new zone.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: A visible Content Protection Zone appears in the document.
• Next action available: You can type or organize protected content inside the zone.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If you do not type the slash on a blank line, the quick menu may not appear as expected.
• Environment note: It is recommended to use this feature in a collaborative document so permission effects can apply as expected.

2. Insert a Content Protection Zone from the paragraph handle menu

Entry: Paragraph handle on the left side of the paragraph → Content Protection Zone icon

1. Place the cursor near the position where you want to add the protected zone.
2. Click the paragraph handle on the left side of the paragraph.
3. Select the Content Protection Zone icon from the menu.
4. Enter the content that you want to protect in the new zone.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: A Content Protection Zone block appears at the current position.
• Next action available: You can continue editing text inside the protected zone.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If the cursor is not placed near the target paragraph, the protected zone may be inserted in a different location.

3. Insert a Content Protection Zone from the Insert menu

Entry: Top toolbar → Insert → Content Protection Zone

1. Place the cursor where you want to add the protected zone.
2. Click Insert on the top toolbar.
3. Select Content Protection Zone from the menu.
4. After insertion, type or paste the content that you want to protect inside the zone.
