1. Switch the page width for the current document

Entry: Lower-right corner of the document window → Page Width switch

  1. Open the document that you want to read or edit.
  2. Click the page width switch in the lower-right toolbar area.
  3. Select Standard Width, Wider, or Full Width.
  4. Check that the document display width updates immediately, then continue reading or editing.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The current document updates to the selected width mode.
  • What you can do next: You can continue scrolling, reading, editing, and saving the document.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not working inside an active document window, you may not see the lower-right entry.
  • Environment note: This change applies to the current document and does not automatically change the default width for all documents.

2. Set the default page width

Entry: File → Document Settings → Personal Preference Settings

  1. In the upper-left corner of the document window, click File.
  2. Select Document Settings.
  3. Click Personal Preference Settings.
  4. In Default Page Width, select Standard Width or Full Width.
  5. After saving the setting, new documents and first-time opened documents will use that default width.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The default page width option is saved in the selected state.
  • What you can do next: New documents or first-time opened documents follow the saved preference.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Changing page width from the lower-right switch does not also change the default page width.
  • Environment note: If a document has already been adjusted manually, it can continue to display according to that document's own setting.
