Does changing page width affect only the current document?

  1. If you change the width from the lower-right page width switch, the change applies only to the current document.
  2. If you want new documents and first-time opened documents to use a fixed width, open FileDocument SettingsPersonal Preference Settings.
  3. Then choose the width you want in Default Page Width.

Why did I set a default page width, but some documents did not change?

  1. First check whether that document has already been adjusted manually.
  2. A document that has been adjusted manually can continue to use its own display setting.
  3. The default page width mainly affects new documents and first-time opened documents that have not been adjusted manually.

What kinds of documents are most suitable for Page Width?

  1. Regular text documents are usually more comfortable in Standard Width.
  2. Documents with many table columns, images, or denser layouts are often easier to view in Wider or Full Width.
