1. Add a document cover from Page Settings
Entry: Above the title → Page Settings → Cover option
- Open a smart document and place the cursor in the document title area.
- Click Page Settings at the top.
- In the pop-up window, turn on Cover.
- The cover is inserted on the first page of the document.

- Interface result: A cover block appears on the first page.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing the title, subtitle, or other cover information.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the current smart document window is not active, it may be harder to confirm the entry location.
- Environment note: Open a smart document first instead of a regular blank document page.
2. Add a document cover from the file menu and Document Settings
Entry: Upper-left file menu (≡) → Document Settings → Page Settings → Cover option
- Open a smart document and click the upper-left file menu icon ≡.
- Click Document Settings.
- In document settings, click Page Settings.
- In the pop-up window, turn on Cover.
- The cover is inserted on the first page of the document.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A cover area is added to the first page.
- What you can do next: You can return to the document and continue editing the cover and body content.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not enter Document Settings first, you may not find the Page Settings entry.
