Why can’t I find the Cover Page toggle?

  1. Make sure the current file is a smart document.
  2. Tap the ≡ icon and open Page Settings, or look for Page Settings above the title area.
  3. If the option still does not appear, update WPS Office and open the document again.

Does a cover page affect the table of contents or page numbers?

  1. The cover page is used as a separate first-page content block.
  2. The table of contents still follows the heading structure in the main body.
  3. Page number display depends on the current document settings, so check the full layout after adding the cover page.

Can I customize the cover style?

  1. You can first add a cover quickly by turning on the Cover Page toggle.
  2. Then continue editing the first page content if you want to adjust what appears there.
  3. If you need a more detailed layout, refine the page manually after the cover page is added.
