Will other people see my changed counting metric?

  1. Open the word count area and switch to a different counting metric.
  2. Return to the document and continue editing.
  3. The setting only affects your own interface, so other collaborators do not see your default metric change.

Are images and tables included in the count?

  1. Word Count mainly counts text entered in the document.
  2. The document title is included in the result.
  3. Images, tables, cloud documents, contacts, and other non-manually entered content are not included. Comment-related content outside the main body is also not included.

Why does the number in the bottom bar keep changing?

  1. Word Count updates in real time based on the current document content.
  2. When you type, delete, or revise text, the number changes accordingly.
  3. If you switch the default counting metric, the type of number shown in the bottom bar also changes.
