1. View editor details
Entry path: Below the document title → Creator avatar → Editor list
- Open the smart document you want to review.
- Click the creator avatar below the document title.
- Open the Editor list panel.
- Review each collaborator's contribution share.
- Check the last edit time and related details.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Editor list panel is open.
- Next action available: You can continue reviewing contributor details or move to the attribution marker toggle.
Tips While Using
- Only users with editing permission for the current document can access this panel.
- If the entry is not visible, check whether the document info bar is turned on.
2. Turn on attribution markers
Entry path: Editor list → Show editor markers → On
- Open the Editor list panel in the document.
- Click Show editor markers in the lower-left corner.
- Wait for editor underlines to appear in the document.
- Use the markers to identify which collaborator edited which content.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Editor underlines appear in the document.
- Next action available: You can continue reading the document and checking content ownership.
Tips While Using
- These markers are used for attribution review and do not change the document body content.
- Formatting changes are not counted in character-based contribution statistics.
3. Turn off attribution markers
Entry path: Editor list → Show editor markers → Off
- Open the Editor list panel in the document.
- Click Show editor markers again.
- Wait for the editor markers to disappear from the document.
- Continue reading the document in a cleaner view.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Editor markers are no longer shown in the document.
- Next action available: You can continue reading, editing, or turn the markers back on later.
Tips While Using
- Turning markers off does not remove collaborator information; it only hides the visual markers.
- You can turn them on again at any time when you need to review attribution.
