FAQ
What actions are included in Collaboration History?
- Collaboration History shows editing activity in the document.
- Common records can include added content, deleted content, formatting changes, and comments.
- You can review these changes over time in the Collaboration History panel.
Can I delete a collaboration record?
- Collaboration records are saved automatically by the system.
- You cannot manually delete a single collaboration record in this feature flow.
- If you need to preserve an important state for longer, keep a separate version or use document history for additional review.
Does Collaboration History keep records permanently?
- Collaboration History has record-count or retention-range limits.
- It is not intended to be the only long-term archive method.
- If you need long-term retention, save important versions separately and manage key versions on your own.
Why can't I jump to the content after clicking a collaboration record?
- First, confirm whether the content related to that record still exists in the current document.
- If the related content has already been deleted, WPS may not be able to jump to the original location directly.
- In that case, open document history, find the relevant version, and return to that version if needed.
