1. Open Message Notification Settings

Entry: Form Editor → Survey → Message Notification Settings

  1. Open the Smart Forms editing interface.
  2. In the left navigation pane, select the Survey section.
  3. Find the Message Notification Settings option.
  4. Click the option to enter editing.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the Message Notification Settings editing page or pop-up panel opens.
  • Next action available: you can continue adjusting the related options.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not enter the Survey section first, you may not see the related option.
  • Environment note: you need edit permission for the current Smart Form.

2. Set options and preview the result

Entry: Message Notification Settings panel

  1. In the pop-up panel, review the current notification options.
  2. Configure the related options as needed.
  3. Use Preview to check the result.
  4. Confirm that the displayed result matches your expectation.

  • Interface result: the panel shows the updated option status.
  • Next action available: you can continue to confirm and save the changes.

3. Save the settings and check whether they take effect

Entry: Message Notification Settings panel → OK / Save

  1. After finishing the setup, click OK to complete the action.
  2. Return to the editing page and confirm that the settings were saved.
  3. If the changes need to take effect for respondents, check whether the current survey also needs a new published version.
  4. Use preview or new submissions to verify that the notification settings work as expected.
