How-to Guide

Entry path: WPS Home → Profile Picture → Personal Center → Link Email

  1. Click the profile picture icon in the upper-right corner of WPS.
  2. Open Personal Center.
  3. Find the Link Email option.
  4. Click Link.
  5. Enter the email address you want to link.
  6. Sign in to that email inbox and get the verification code.
  7. Enter the verification code and click Confirm to finish linking.
  • On-screen result: the page shows that the email has been linked or the linked-email status has been updated.
  • What you can do next: you can receive verification codes through this email and use it for account verification.
  • Make sure the email address you enter can receive messages normally.
  • If you do not receive the verification code, check the spam folder or try again later.
  • One email address can be linked to only one WPS personal account.

2. Change a Linked Email Address

Entry path: Personal Center → Account Management → Link Email → Change Email

  1. In Personal Center, find the Link Email setting.
  2. Click Change Email.
  3. Use the current email address to receive a verification code and verify your identity.
  4. Enter the new email address.
  5. Enter the verification code sent to the new email address.
  6. Confirm the change to finish updating the linked email.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: the linked email information is updated to the new email address.
  • What you can do next: future verification codes are sent to the new email address.

Tips While Using

  • Before changing the email, make sure the current email or another available verification method can still be used.
  • If the current email is no longer available, select Cannot receive verification code on the page and follow the prompts.
  • The new email address cannot already be linked to another WPS personal account.
