1. Add strikethrough from the ribbon button

Entry point: Home tab → Strikethrough button

  1. Select the cell where you want to add strikethrough, or enter the cell and select part of the text.
  2. Click the Strikethrough button on the Home tab.
  3. Check whether the selected text now shows a strikethrough line.
  4. To remove it, click Strikethrough again.
