How-to Guide
1. Scan to Input from the Insert tab
Entry path: Open WPS Spreadsheet → tap Tools at the bottom → switch to Insert → tap Scan to Input
- Open WPS Spreadsheet.
- Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen.
- Switch to the Insert section.
- Tap Scan to Input.
- When the camera opens automatically, point it at a QR code or barcode.
- Wait for the app to recognize and display the result.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The camera opens normally and a recognized result appears.
- Next action available: The recognized content is ready for confirmation or further entry.
Tips While Using
- Permissions or membership: This feature requires WPS Premium.
- Environment: Allow camera access the first time you use it, and keep the code clear and steady during scanning.
2. Scan to Input from the input box
Entry path: Double-tap the target cell to open the input box → tap Scan to Input on the right
- Open WPS Spreadsheet.
- Double-tap the cell where you want to enter data to open the input box.
- Tap Scan to Input on the right side of the input box.
- When the camera opens automatically, point it at a QR code or barcode.
- Wait for the app to recognize and display the result.
- Tap Start Conversion to write the recognized result into the cell.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The scan entry is visible in the input box, and the recognized result can be displayed.
- Next action available: After you tap Start Conversion, the result is written into the current cell.
Tips While Using
- Permissions or membership: This feature requires WPS Premium.
- Common mistake: If you do not select and double-tap the target cell first, the result may not be written back to the expected location.
