How-to Guide

1. Move a Worksheet

Entry: Long-press a worksheet tab → drag to move

  1. Open a spreadsheet that contains multiple worksheets.
  2. Long-press the worksheet tab that you want to move.
  3. Drag the worksheet tab to the position you want in the tab bar.
  4. Release your finger to finish the move.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The worksheet tab appears in its new position.
  • What you can do next: You can switch to that worksheet and continue editing.
  • No unwanted effect: The worksheet content itself is not deleted during reordering.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: A short tap only switches worksheets and does not enter drag mode.
  • Environment note: It is more meaningful when the file contains at least two worksheets.

2. Copy a Worksheet

Entry: Tap a worksheet tab → Copy

  1. Open the spreadsheet that contains the worksheet you want to copy.
  2. Tap the target worksheet tab to show the floating toolbar.
  3. Tap Copy on the floating toolbar.
  4. Check whether a new worksheet copy appears after the original sheet.
  5. Rename or edit the copied worksheet as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A duplicate worksheet appears after the original worksheet.
  • What you can do next: You can open the duplicate and edit it separately.
  • No unwanted effect: Editing the duplicate does not directly change the original worksheet.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the worksheet tab is not selected first, the related toolbar may not appear.
  • Naming rule: The copied worksheet name adds a numbered suffix such as (1), (2), or (3).
  • Formula note: If the sheet contains cross-sheet references, review the results after copying.
