1. Insert a Worksheet

Entry point: the “+” add button on the right side of the sheet tab bar

  1. Open the spreadsheet workbook that you want to edit.
  2. Tap the “+” add button on the right side of the sheet tab bar.
  3. WPS creates a new blank worksheet immediately.
  4. Continue entering or organizing data on the new worksheet.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a new worksheet tab appears in the sheet tab bar.
  • What you can do next: you can switch to the new worksheet and start editing.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if no spreadsheet file is open, you will not see the sheet tab bar.
  • Environment note: if the file is read-only, later changes may not be saved.

2. Delete a Worksheet

Entry point: floating toolbar for the worksheet → Delete

  1. Open the spreadsheet workbook that contains the target worksheet.
  2. Tap the worksheet that you want to remove to open the floating toolbar.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Confirm the prompt to finish deletion.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the deleted worksheet tab disappears from the workbook.
  • What you can do next: you can continue switching between and editing the remaining worksheets.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: deleting a worksheet before checking its content may remove important data.
