1. Hide a Sheet
Entry point: Tap a sheet tab → Hide
- Tap the sheet tab that you want to hide to open the floating toolbar.
- Tap Hide on the floating toolbar.
- The current sheet disappears from the top tab bar.
Success Criteria
- The sheet no longer appears in the top tab bar.
- You can continue editing other visible sheets in the workbook.
- Data in the hidden sheet remains in the workbook.
Tips While Using
- Keep at least one worksheet visible in the workbook.
- If only one visible sheet remains, you usually cannot hide that sheet.
- Hiding a sheet does not delete its data.
2. Unhide a Sheet
Entry point: Tap another visible sheet tab → Unhide
- Tap any currently visible sheet tab to open the floating toolbar.
- Tap Unhide on the floating toolbar.
- Restore hidden sheets in the current workbook to visible status.
Success Criteria
- Previously hidden sheets appear again in the top tab bar.
- You can switch to the restored sheet and continue viewing or editing it.
Tips While Using
- The unhide option is useful only when the workbook already contains hidden sheets.
- After unhiding, check the sheet order and content to make sure they match your current needs.
