1. Hide rows and columns
Feature entry: Tools → Home → Rows & Columns → Hide
- Open a WPS spreadsheet file and select the row number or column header that you want to hide.
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Open the Home menu and tap Rows & Columns.
- Tap Hide in the expanded options.
- To hide multiple rows or columns, long press and drag the selection box to select multiple targets, then run the hide action.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected row or column is no longer visible in the current worksheet.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing other cells or move on to managing hidden rows and columns.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Make sure you select the row number or column header instead of a regular cell range.

2. Manage hidden rows and columns
Feature entry: Select the adjacent rows or columns around the hidden area → Tools → Home → Rows & Columns → Manage Hidden Rows and Columns
- Select the rows or columns on both sides of the hidden area.
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Open the Home menu and tap Rows & Columns.
- Tap Manage Hidden Rows and Columns in the expanded options.
- Choose hidden rows or hidden columns as needed, then unhide one item or all items.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The previously hidden rows or columns appear again, and the row numbers or column headers become continuous.

Tips While Using
