How-to Guide
1. Find content
Entry: Home tab → Find drop-down menu → Find
- Click the Find drop-down menu on the Home tab.
- Select Find.
- Enter the content that you want to search for in the dialog box.
- If you need more conditions, click Options to expand advanced settings.
- Set the scope, search method, look-in range, match case option, or entire-cell matching as needed.
- Click Find All, Previous, or Next to review the results.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Find dialog box opens and matching results are shown.

Tips While Using

2. Replace content
Entry: Home tab → Find drop-down menu → Replace
- Click the Find drop-down menu on the Home tab.
- Select Replace to open the Replace dialog box.
- Enter the original text in Find what.
- Enter the new text in Replace with.
- Click Replace to confirm changes one by one, or click Replace All to update all matches.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The matched cell content is updated to the new text.
- What you can do next: You can continue replacing the next match or enter a new replacement condition.

3. Go to cells
Entry: Home tab → Find drop-down menu → Go To
- Click the Find drop-down menu on the Home tab.
- Select Go To to open the Go To dialog box.
- Choose a target type such as data, constants, formulas, comments, blanks, or errors.
- Click Go To to complete the selection.
