How-to Guide
1. Fill Down
Feature path: Home → Data Processing → Fill → Fill Down
- Select the cell with source data and the target cells below it.
- Click the Home tab.
- Open Data Processing.
- Open the Fill menu.
- Click Fill Down.
- The content of the top cell is copied to all selected cells below.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The cells below show the same content as the top cell.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing, saving, or applying another fill command.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the target range is not selected together with the source cell, the action only applies to the current selection.
2. Fill Right
Feature path: Home → Data Processing → Fill → Fill Right
- Select the cell with source data and the target cells to its right.
- Click the Home tab.
- Open Data Processing.
- Open the Fill menu.
- Click Fill Right.
- The content of the leftmost cell is copied to all selected cells on the right.
