How do I remove cell shading or fill color?

  1. Select the cell where you want to clear the color.
  2. Open the Fill Color drop-down menu.

  4. Confirm that the cell background returns to its default state.

Why can’t I see any change after I choose a color?

  1. Make sure that the target cell was selected before you applied the color.
  2. Check whether the file is editable instead of read-only.
  3. Try a more visible color and test again.
