1. Create a Worksheet Copy
Entry point: Sheet floating toolbar → Copy
- Tap the worksheet tab that you want to copy to open the floating toolbar.
- Tap Copy on the floating toolbar.
- WPS creates a new worksheet copy after the current worksheet.
- The copied sheet name automatically adds a number after the original name, such as (1), (2), or (3).
Success Criteria
- Visual result: A new worksheet tab appears after the current sheet.
- Next action available: You can open the duplicate and continue editing, renaming, or adjusting its content.
- No direct overwrite: Changes made in the duplicate do not directly change the original worksheet.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not tap the worksheet tab first, the related floating toolbar may not appear.
- Naming rule: Repeated copies use the original name with an added number to distinguish each duplicate.
- File permission: If the file is read-only, the copy action may not be available.
