1. Create a Worksheet Copy

Entry point: Sheet floating toolbar → Copy

  1. Tap the worksheet tab that you want to copy to open the floating toolbar.
  2. Tap Copy on the floating toolbar.
  3. WPS creates a new worksheet copy after the current worksheet.
  4. The copied sheet name automatically adds a number after the original name, such as (1), (2), or (3).

Success Criteria

  • Visual result: A new worksheet tab appears after the current sheet.
  • Next action available: You can open the duplicate and continue editing, renaming, or adjusting its content.
  • No direct overwrite: Changes made in the duplicate do not directly change the original worksheet.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not tap the worksheet tab first, the related floating toolbar may not appear.
  • Naming rule: Repeated copies use the original name with an added number to distinguish each duplicate.
  • File permission: If the file is read-only, the copy action may not be available.
