1. Insert a Chart
Entry: Tools → Insert → Chart
- Select the cell range that contains your data, including category labels and values.
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Select the Insert tab.
- Tap Chart.
- In the chart type selection screen, choose a chart type such as a line chart, column chart, pie chart, bar chart, or scatter chart.
- Select a chart style.
- The chart is inserted into the current worksheet automatically.

- On-screen result: A new chart object appears in the current worksheet.
- Next action available: You can tap the chart and enter chart editing mode.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If labels and values are not selected completely, the generated legend or categories may be inaccurate.
- Environment note: It is helpful to organize the data range before inserting the chart.
2. Edit a Chart
Entry: Tap the chart → bottom toolbar
- Tap the inserted chart.
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Use the available options to change chart style, select data, or adjust quick layout.
- Tap another area of the worksheet to exit editing mode.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The chart style, data range, or layout changes as expected.
- Next action available: You can continue saving the worksheet or reopen chart editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Tapping a blank worksheet area exits editing mode.
