1. Keep Content

Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Keep Content

  1. Select the cell range that you want to process.
  2. Click the Premium tab.
  3. Select Smart Toolbox to open the Smart Toolbox tab.
  4. Click the Insert drop-down menu and select Keep Content.
  5. Choose the content type that you want to keep, such as Chinese characters, numbers, or English letters.
  6. Click OK to finish.

Success Criteria

  • The selected cells keep only the specified type of content.
  • Unneeded content is removed in batches.

2. Insert Text at Beginning

Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Insert Text → Insert Text at Beginning

  1. Select the cell range where you want to insert text.
  2. Click the Premium tab.
  3. Select Smart Toolbox to open the Smart Toolbox tab.
  4. Click the Insert drop-down menu and open the Insert Text menu.
  5. Click Insert Text at Beginning.
  6. Enter the text that you want to add in batches.
  7. Click OK.

Success Criteria

  • The specified text is added before the existing content in the selected cells.
  • The original cell content remains after the inserted text.

3. Insert Text in the Middle

Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Insert Text → Insert Text in the Middle

  4. Click the Insert drop-down menu and open the Insert Text menu.
  5. Click Insert Text in the Middle.
  6. Set the insertion position after the Nth character from the left or the right.
  7. Enter the text to insert and click OK.

  • New text is inserted after the specified character position in the selected cells.
  • The same insertion rule is applied across the selected range.

  4. Click the Insert drop-down menu and open the Insert Text menu.
  5. Click Insert Text at End.
  6. Enter the text that you want to append.
  7. Click OK.
