How-to Guide
1. Keep Content
Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Keep Content
- Select the cell range that you want to process.
- Click the Premium tab.
- Select Smart Toolbox to open the Smart Toolbox tab.
- Click the Insert drop-down menu and select Keep Content.
- Choose the content type that you want to keep, such as Chinese characters, numbers, or English letters.
- Click OK to finish.
Success Criteria
- The selected cells keep only the specified type of content.
- Unneeded content is removed in batches.
Tips While Using

- Confirm the selected range before running the batch action.
2. Insert Text at Beginning
Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Insert Text → Insert Text at Beginning
- Select the cell range where you want to insert text.
- Click the Premium tab.
- Select Smart Toolbox to open the Smart Toolbox tab.
- Click the Insert drop-down menu and open the Insert Text menu.
- Click Insert Text at Beginning.
- Enter the text that you want to add in batches.
- Click OK.
Success Criteria
- The specified text is added before the existing content in the selected cells.
- The original cell content remains after the inserted text.

- Check that the prefix format is consistent before applying it to many cells.
3. Insert Text in the Middle
Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Insert Text → Insert Text in the Middle
- Select the cell range where you want to insert text.
- Click the Premium tab.
- Select Smart Toolbox to open the Smart Toolbox tab.
- Click the Insert drop-down menu and open the Insert Text menu.
- Click Insert Text in the Middle.
- Set the insertion position after the Nth character from the left or the right.
- Enter the text to insert and click OK.
Success Criteria
- New text is inserted after the specified character position in the selected cells.
- The same insertion rule is applied across the selected range.

4. Insert Text at End
Entry point: Premium → Smart Toolbox → Insert → Insert Text → Insert Text at End
- Select the cell range where you want to insert text.
- Click the Premium tab.
- Select Smart Toolbox to open the Smart Toolbox tab.
- Click the Insert drop-down menu and open the Insert Text menu.
- Click Insert Text at End.
- Enter the text that you want to append.
- Click OK.
Success Criteria
- The specified text is appended to the end of the selected cell content.
- The original content order stays unchanged.
