1. Apply bold from the ribbon button

Entry: Home tab → Bold button

  1. Select the cell you want to format, or double-click the cell and select part of the text inside it.
  2. Open the Home tab.
  3. Click Bold.
  4. To remove bold, click Bold again.

3. Apply bold from the font settings dialog
