How-to Guide

1. Turn Auto Wrap On or Off

Feature path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Home → Auto Wrap

  1. Select the cell or range that you want to change.
  2. Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
  3. Open the Home section in the tool panel.
  4. Find and tap Auto Wrap.
  5. After it is turned on, content that exceeds the column width wraps automatically, and the related row height becomes taller.
  6. Tap Auto Wrap again to turn the effect off.
  7. After it is turned off, the cell content returns to a single-line display and overflow text is cut off on screen.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Long text appears on multiple lines after Auto Wrap is turned on, and returns to a single line after it is turned off.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing cell content, adjust column width, or repeat the setting for another range.

Tips While Using

  • Auto Wrap is a cell-level display setting and only applies to the currently selected cell or range.
  • Auto Wrap does not change the actual content stored in the cell; it only changes how the content is displayed.
  • If you want a consistent result across multiple cells, select the full target range before turning Auto Wrap on or off.
