1. Turn Auto Wrap on or off

Feature path: Tools → Home → Auto Wrap

  1. Select the cell or range that you want to change.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the Home tab.
  4. Find and tap Auto Wrap in the expanded menu.
  5. When the content exceeds the column width, the text wraps onto multiple lines and the row height increases.
  6. To turn it off, tap Auto Wrap again.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Text that exceeds the column width appears on multiple lines inside the cell, or returns to a single line after Auto Wrap is turned off.
  • What you can do next: Continue editing cell content, adjust column width, or save the spreadsheet.

Tips While Using
