Is the default alignment different for numbers and text?

How do I center-align header text?

1. Select the header cell or the full header row.
2. Tap Tools and open the Home tab.
3. In the Align Text area, choose horizontal center alignment and add vertical centering if needed.

This makes header text more suitable for titles and easier to read consistently.

Why is the indentation effect hard to notice?

1. Make sure the selected cell contains text.
2. Tap Increase Indent and watch for text position changes.
