When using WPS Version History, the most common questions are about access conditions, version retention, and storage management; this FAQ includes 3 common questions and a glossary.

FAQ

Why can’t I see Version History or any available versions?

  1. Make sure the file you opened is a cloud document, not only a local file.
  2. Confirm that the file has been uploaded to cloud storage and that you are signed in to your WPS account.
  3. Check your network connection, then open the top-right menu again to look for Version History.

Can version history be kept for a long time?

  1. Version history can be used to keep milestone records of a document.
  2. If a version needs to stay easy to identify later, name that version first.
  3. If some content needs to be kept separately, save it as a separate file after confirming the content.

How to view version history on iPhone when too many versions take up space?

  1. Open the Version History list and check whether there are older versions you no longer need.
  2. Clean up large files or version records with more redundancy first.
  3. If you need more cloud storage, review whether a paid plan fits your usage frequency.
