1. Insert a Text Box
Entry path: Tools tab → Insert → Text Box
- Tap the Tools tab at the bottom.
- Switch to Insert.
- Tap Text Box.
- A default rectangular text box appears in the spreadsheet.
- Drag the control points around the box to resize it, and drag the border to move it.

- Visual result: A selectable rectangular text box appears in the spreadsheet.
- Next action available: You can continue typing text or changing the text box style.
Tips While Using
- A text box is a floating object and is not fixed to a single cell.
- After spreadsheet structure changes, the text box position may shift.
2. Enter Text in a Text Box
Entry path: Double-tap an inserted text box
- Double-tap inside the text box to enter typing mode.
- Enter your text.
- Adjust basic font settings if needed.
- Tap a blank area of the sheet to confirm.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: The text you entered appears inside the text box.
- Next action available: You can continue moving the text box or changing its style.
Tips While Using
- If typing does not work, confirm that the file is in edit mode.
- In fit-to-screen viewing status, the text box may be view-only.
3. Change Text Box Style
Entry path: Select the text box → Tools tab → Text Box
- Select the target text box.
- Tap the Tools tab at the bottom.
- Open the Text Box contextual options.
- Use Rotate Left or Rotate Right as needed.
- Set Fill Color, Border Color, Border Style, or Border Weight as needed.
- If you no longer need it, tap Delete to remove the text box.

Tips While Using
