Why can’t I find the sort option?

  2. Select a data range and check whether Tools appears at the bottom.
  3. Open Tools and go to the Data tab to look for Ascending or Descending.
  4. You can also select a column first and check whether the sort option appears in the column floating menu.

How do I restore the original order after sorting?

  1. Use Undo right after the sorting action.
  2. Confirm that the spreadsheet content returns to the previous order.
  3. If you still need to sort again, select the correct range and repeat the action.

Why should I select the data range or column before sorting?

  1. Sorting is applied to the currently selected range.
