- Select the example cell and the range below that needs to be filled.
- Click Smart Fill on the Data tab.
- Review the results after the system identifies the pattern and fills the remaining cells.
Success Criteria
- The target column is filled automatically according to the example pattern.
- The original data column remains unchanged.

Tips While Using
- Clearer examples usually produce more stable recognition results.
- It is recommended to place the target column next to the source data so the fill effect is easier to review.

Success Criteria
- The system extracts the target field based on the example.
- Multiple rows follow the same extraction rule.
- The results can be used for sorting, filtering, or export.
Tips While Using
- If the source data format varies a lot, add more examples before running the feature again.
- It is a good idea to spot-check the extracted results before using them in later batch tasks.
3. Smart merge example
Feature entry: Enter a merge example → Smart Fill
- In a new column, enter one example result that combines data from multiple columns.
- Select the example cell and the range that should receive the output.
- Click Smart Fill or press Ctrl+E.
- Check whether the system combines text, numbers, and other content into the target column according to the example.
Success Criteria
- Multiple columns are combined in the order and format shown by the example.
- The target column contains results in a consistent format.
- The source columns are not modified.
Tips While Using
- Before merging, confirm that separators, spaces, and order match your expected result.
- If the output format is inconsistent, enter a clearer example and run the feature again.
