FAQ

Why can’t I find the Scan Input entry?

  1. Make sure you are using WPS Spreadsheet and that you are signed in.
  2. Check your membership status, because Scan Input requires an active membership.
  3. Look for the entry under Tools > Insert, or double-tap a cell and check the upper-left area of the input box.
  4. If the entry still does not appear, update WPS Office and reopen the spreadsheet.

What should I do if scan recognition fails?

  1. Make sure the captured content is clear and visible, with limited blur, shadow, or glare.
  2. Adjust the distance so the full area you want to recognize is inside the frame.
  3. Use materials with clearer table or text layout when possible.
  4. Capture the content again, or import a clearer file or image from Add Document or Photo Library.

Which permissions do I need before using Scan Input?

  1. Allow camera access before using camera-based capture.
  2. Allow photo access if you want to import images from the photo library.
  3. Allow file access if you want to add materials from documents.
  4. After permission is granted, reopen the Scan Input page and continue.
