Will hiding Row and Column Headings affect spreadsheet editing?

  1. No. It does not affect cell content, formulas, or scrolling.
  2. Hiding the feature only removes the visible row numbers and column letters from the worksheet view.
  3. If you need to locate cells again more easily, turn the headings back on.

Why did the change apply to only one worksheet?

  1. The Row and Column Headings setting affects only the current worksheet display.
  2. If you switch to another worksheet, set it again there if needed.
  3. To keep a consistent view, check the display state sheet by sheet.

Are Row and Column Headings printed?

  1. On-screen row and column headings are mainly used for viewing and navigation.
  2. Printed output usually does not include these on-screen aids by default.
  3. If you need them in print, review the available print settings for your workflow.
