Why do I not see any referenced result after I click the command?
- Confirm that the selected cell contains a formula or is part of a formula reference relationship.
- Make sure you opened Locate Referenced Cells from the Formulas tab.
- If the selected cell is only a plain value or text cell, there may be no reference relationship to display.
What does the Locate button do?
- The Locate button helps you continue tracing the source behind the current result.
- After the dialog lists referenced cells, click Locate to move to or continue reviewing the related source position.
- This is useful when you want to follow upstream relationships step by step.
Do I need a membership to use this feature?
