1. Hide a Sheet
Entry path: Tap a sheet tab → Hide
- Tap the sheet tab that you want to hide to open the floating toolbar.
- Tap Hide on the floating toolbar.
- The selected sheet is hidden and no longer appears in the top tab bar.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The hidden sheet tab no longer appears in the top tab bar.
- What you can do next: You can continue viewing or editing other visible worksheets.
- No unwanted change: The hidden worksheet data remains in the current workbook.
Tips While Using
- A workbook must keep at least one visible worksheet, so you cannot hide every sheet.
- Hiding a worksheet does not affect formulas or related data in other worksheets.
2. Unhide a Sheet
Entry path: Tap another visible sheet tab → Unhide
- Tap any other visible sheet tab to open the floating toolbar.
- Tap Unhide on the floating toolbar.
- Select the worksheet that you want to restore.
- Tap OK to finish unhiding it.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected worksheet appears again in the top tab bar.
- What you can do next: You can open the worksheet right away and continue viewing or editing it.
- No unwanted change: The visibility state of other worksheets remains unchanged.
Tips While Using
- Unhide only works when the workbook already contains hidden worksheets.
- If the file was organized by someone else, review restored worksheets and their references one by one.
