FAQ
Are the groups I create in collaboration mode visible to other people?
- Group and outline settings are saved in the current document.
- Other collaborators can see the same grouping structure after opening the file.
- Each collaborator can expand or collapse groups based on their own viewing needs.
Why can’t I see the collapse or expand controls?
- First confirm that you have successfully created a row group or column group.
- Check whether your current selection is made of consecutive rows or consecutive columns.
- Run the grouping action again, then check the left side or top of the sheet for the
-and+controls.
Will removing a group delete my data?
- Removing a group only removes the grouping structure.
- The original cell data is not deleted.
- After removal, you can select rows or columns again and create a new group.
