FAQ

Why do I not see filter arrows after turning Filter on?

  1. Make sure you selected a data range that includes the header row.
  2. Open Tools > Data > Filter again and check whether arrows appear in the header row.
  3. If they still do not appear, reselect the range and turn Filter on again.

Does filtering delete my data?

  1. No. Filtering only hides rows that do not match the current criteria.
  2. You can change the filter criteria or turn Filter off to view the full data set again.
  3. If you want to keep a separate result, use the filtered-result export feature.

Why does copying data only copy some rows after I filter?

  1. When a filter is active, copy actions usually include only the visible rows.
  2. If you need to copy all rows, turn Filter off first.
  3. Then copy the data again.

How do I export filtered results on iPhone or iPad?

  1. Apply the filter you need first.
