Why can’t I find the Fill option?
- Make sure you opened an editable spreadsheet file.
- Select a cell range, then tap Tools → Home and check whether Fill appears.
- You can also tap the target cells and check whether Fill appears in the floating toolbar.
- If it still does not appear, update to the latest version of WPS Office and try again.
What is the difference between Copy Fill and Series Fill?
- Copy Fill copies the source cell content directly and does not continue a pattern.
- Series Fill detects a pattern and tries to continue it.
- If you want the same value repeated, use Copy Fill. If you want numbering or another pattern to continue, use Series Fill.
Why did Fill overwrite my existing data?
- Fill writes results into the target area, so existing content can be replaced.
- Before you use it, check whether the target area is empty or whether the current data can be replaced.
- If you need to keep the original content, copy to a blank area first and then use Fill.
How to autofill data on Android in a filtered sheet?
- You can use Fill in a filtered sheet.
- Fill applies only to visible cells, and hidden rows are not filled at the same time.
- After the action, review the sheet to confirm that the results are in the correct positions.
