1. Set a fill color

Feature entry: Home tab → Fill Color

  1. Select the cell or cells where you want to add a background color.
  2. Click the Fill Color drop-down arrow on the Home tab.
  3. Select the color you want from the palette.
  4. Confirm that the selected cells now show the new background color.

2. Set a fill color from the right-click menu

Feature entry: Select cells → Right-click → Format Cells → Fill

  2. Right-click and choose Format Cells.
