1. Start and configure File Optimization
Entry: File (☰) icon → Special Features → File Optimization
- Click the File (☰) icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select Special Features.
- Click File Optimization.
- Review the current file size and wait for optimization to begin.
- Review optimized items such as image compression, redundant data cleanup, and style cleanup.
- Click Optimization Settings if you want to adjust the behavior.
- Turn on the option to allow automatic optimization when the file meets the required conditions, if needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The File Optimization panel opens and shows the current file size.
- Next action available: You can review optimized items and open Optimization Settings.
- No unwanted result: The spreadsheet remains editable after the process starts.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the target spreadsheet is not open first, you cannot optimize the current file.
- Environment note: An internet connection is recommended for collaboration and cloud-related scenarios.
- Data note: File Optimization is used to clean redundant data and optimize resources. For important files, save a backup first if you may need to review an earlier version.
