  • Each record shows the operator, action type, and action time.

Tips While Using

  • Collaboration History works in collaboration mode.
  • A stable internet connection helps the records load completely.

2. Use the Collaboration History Filter

Entry path: Collaboration History side panel → Filter

  1. Open the Collaboration History panel first.
  2. Find the filter entry at the top of the panel.
  3. Filter by person to review records from a specific collaborator.
  4. Filter by action type, such as editing, commenting, or sharing.
  5. Filter by time range to review records from a specific period.
  6. Combine multiple conditions to narrow the results and find the target record faster.

Success Criteria

  • The filter opens normally.
  • The record list updates when filter conditions change.
  • You can narrow records by person, action type, or time range.

Tips While Using

  • If there are only a few records, some filter combinations may return no results.
  • It is more efficient to define the investigation target before combining filters.

3. Restore Collaboration Content

Entry path: Collaboration History panel → Select a record → View Details → Restore Content

  1. In the Collaboration History panel, click any collaboration record.
  2. If the related content still exists in the spreadsheet, WPS locates that content.
  3. Review the highlighted area to confirm the exact change location.
  4. Click View Details.
  5. Select Restore Content.
  6. Restore the content to the spreadsheet.

Success Criteria

  • Clicking a record locates the related content, or clearly indicates that the content can no longer be located.
  • The changed area can be reviewed with highlighting.
  • After restoration, the target content appears again in the spreadsheet.

Tips While Using

  • If the related content has already been deleted from the spreadsheet, the record may not locate it directly.
  • Collaboration History has a record retention limit, so important content should be handled in time.
  • Guest action records show the action content but not the account identity.
