1. Create a task list

Feature entry: Home tab → Task List

  1. Place the cursor where you want to insert the task list.
  2. Click Task List on the Home tab.
  3. After insertion, a task list checkbox appears in the document.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A checkable task item appears at the current cursor position.
  • What you can do next: You can type task content or continue adding more task items.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the cursor is not placed first, the task list may be inserted in an unexpected position.

2. Mark a task as complete

Feature entry: The checkbox before a task item

  1. Find the task item whose status you want to update.
  2. Click the checkbox before the task.
  3. After checking it, the text appears in light gray to show that the task is complete.
  4. Click the checkbox again to clear the completed state.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The checkbox state changes and the task text color updates at the same time.
  • What you can do next: You can continue switching the status of other task items.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you click the text area instead of the checkbox, the cursor may only move.
