1. Share After Compression from the document page

Entry point: Top menu bar in the document → Share → Share After Compression

  1. Open the document you want to send.
  2. Tap Share in the top menu bar of the document.
  3. Select Share After Compression.
  4. Tap Compress Now and wait while the file is compressed and saved automatically.
  5. Rename the ZIP package if needed.
  6. Tap More, choose a sharing destination such as WPS Collaboration, WeChat, or Mail, and complete sending.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: You can see the sharing destination screen after compression is completed.
  • Next action available: You can rename the ZIP package and choose an app or destination to send it.
  • No unwanted effect: The original document remains in its original location.

2. Share After Compression from the home document list

Entry point: Share button for a document on the WPS home page → Share After Compression

  1. Find the document you want to send on the WPS home page.
  2. Tap the Share button next to the document.
  3. Select Share After Compression.
  4. Tap Compress Now and wait while the file is compressed and saved automatically.
  5. Rename the ZIP package if needed.
  6. Tap More, choose a sharing destination such as WPS Collaboration, WeChat, or Mail, and complete sending.
