FAQ
Why can’t I see the ruler?
- Make sure you are editing a document in WPS Writer rather than another component view.
- Click the View tab at the top.
- Check whether Ruler is enabled. If not, click it once to show the ruler.
The ruler is visible, so why can’t I adjust indents normally?
- Select the paragraph you want to adjust first.
- Then drag the first-line, left, or right indent marker on the ruler.
- If it still does not work, check whether the document is editable.
How can I align text more neatly with the ruler?
- Show the ruler first.
- Click the tab type button on the left side of the ruler and open Set Tab Stops.
- Set the position you need, click OK, and then use the Tab key to align text to the same location.
