Last updated:July 12, 2026

When you use Paper Orientation, common questions usually involve the whole document changing at once, landscape pages not printing correctly, and how to use portrait and landscape in one file; this FAQ covers 3 common questions and a glossary.

FAQ

Why did all pages change after I set the orientation?

  1. Check whether section breaks have already been inserted before and after the target page.
  2. If not, insert a Next Page Section Break where you want the separate orientation to begin.
  3. Place the cursor inside the target section and set the paper orientation again.

How to make one page landscape in WPS on Mac without changing the whole document?

  1. Divide the document into sections first.
  2. Insert a section break before the page that needs a different layout.
  3. Click inside that section and then set the page to Landscape or Portrait as needed.

Why does a landscape page not print completely?

  1. Open Print Preview first and check whether the content extends beyond the page margins.
  2. Review the page margins, table width, or chart size.
  3. Adjust the margins or reduce the content size, then print again.
