FAQ
Why don’t I see an input area at the end of the document after I tap Endnote?
- Make sure the file is an editable Writer document rather than a read-only preview.
- Check whether the cursor was placed in the target position before insertion.
- Scroll to the end of the document to see whether the matching endnote area was created.
- If it still does not appear, tap the text again and repeat Tools → Insert → Endnote.
What is the difference between an endnote and a footnote?
- A footnote usually appears at the bottom of the current page.
- An endnote is collected at the end of the document.
- For long documents with references or supporting notes, endnotes are often easier to organize in one place.
Why do other numbers change after I delete one endnote?
- Endnote numbering is maintained automatically by the system.
- When you add or remove an endnote, later numbers are updated automatically.
- This helps keep the main-text references aligned with the note list at the end of the document.
Do I need a membership to use WPS Endnotes on Android?
- In this feature workflow, endnotes do not have a membership restriction.
- You can use them by opening the relevant path in a Writer document on Android.
- If you also need more PDF tools, cloud storage, or template benefits, you can choose a membership plan as needed.
