How-to Guide
1. Copy Text
Entry path: Edit mode → Long-press text → Copy
- Open the document and enter edit mode.
- Long-press the text you want to copy.
- Drag the selection handles on both sides to adjust the selected range.
- Tap Copy on the floating toolbar.
- The selected text is saved to the system clipboard and can be pasted elsewhere.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The Copy option appears after text is selected.
- Next action available: You can paste the copied content into another editable location.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you are not in edit mode, a long press may only trigger viewing or selection behavior.

2. Paste Text
Entry path: Edit mode → Tap target position → Paste
- Open the document and enter edit mode.
- Tap the location where you want to insert content so the cursor appears there.
- Tap Paste on the floating toolbar near the cursor.
- The clipboard content is inserted at the current position.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The copied or cut text appears at the target position.
- Next action available: You can continue editing, copying, or saving the document.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the clipboard is empty, no target text will be inserted.
- Environment note: Content copied from another app may be affected by system permissions or content type.
3. Cut Text
Entry path: Edit mode → Long-press text → Cut
- Open the document and enter edit mode.
- Long-press and select the text you want to move.
- Tap Cut on the floating toolbar.
- The selected text is removed from its original position and saved to the system clipboard.
- Tap the new target position and use Paste.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The original text is removed from its previous location.
