Common questions about WPS Collaboration Table Properties usually involve finding the entry point, checking why a setting did not apply as expected, and confirming layout results; this section answers 3 common questions.
FAQ
Why can’t I find the Table Properties entry?
- Make sure you are working in a WPS Writer document that already contains a table.
- Tap inside the table, then select the whole table again.
- Check the floating toolbar, or open the lower tool area for table-related options.
- After the full table is selected, open Table Properties again.
Why does only part of the table change color after I set shading?
- Check again whether the whole table is selected.
- In the Shading settings, review the Apply scope.
- If the scope is set to text, paragraph, or cell, the color applies only to that range.
- If you want a consistent full-table result, change the scope to the whole table and confirm again.
Why is the alignment or wrapping effect not obvious?
- Make sure there is enough surrounding body text to show the wrapping result clearly.
- In Alignment and Wrapping, switch the alignment or wrapping option again.
- Return to the document page and check whether the table position or text flow has changed.
- If the document has very little content, add more body text and check the layout again.
