Common questions about WPS Collaboration Table Properties usually involve finding the entry point, checking why a setting did not apply as expected, and confirming layout results; this section answers 3 common questions.

FAQ

Why can’t I find the Table Properties entry?

  1. Make sure you are working in a WPS Writer document that already contains a table.
  2. Tap inside the table, then select the whole table again.
  3. Check the floating toolbar, or open the lower tool area for table-related options.
  4. After the full table is selected, open Table Properties again.

Why does only part of the table change color after I set shading?

  1. Check again whether the whole table is selected.
  2. In the Shading settings, review the Apply scope.
  3. If the scope is set to text, paragraph, or cell, the color applies only to that range.
  4. If you want a consistent full-table result, change the scope to the whole table and confirm again.

Why is the alignment or wrapping effect not obvious?

  1. Make sure there is enough surrounding body text to show the wrapping result clearly.
  2. In Alignment and Wrapping, switch the alignment or wrapping option again.
  3. Return to the document page and check whether the table position or text flow has changed.
  4. If the document has very little content, add more body text and check the layout again.
