1. Share partial pages inside a document

Entry point: Document → Share → Partial Pages

  1. Open the WPS Docs file that you want to share.
  2. Tap the Share button at the top of the document and select Partial Pages.
  3. Set the page range that you want to share, such as pages 2 through 5.
  4. Confirm the page range, then tap Extract and Send.
  5. Choose a sending method and complete the share action.
  6. After the recipient opens it, only the selected pages are visible.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: You enter the partial-page sharing screen and can set the start and end pages.
  • Next actions: You can tap Extract and Send and continue to a sending method.
  • No side effects: The original document remains in place and can still be edited as a full file.

2. Start partial-page sharing from Home

Entry point: WPS Home document list → Share → Partial Pages

  1. Find the document that you want to share on the WPS Home screen.
  2. Tap the Share button next to the document and select Partial Pages.
  3. Choose whether to enable Convert file to cloud document before sending.
  4. If you enable this option, the file is uploaded automatically and sent as a WPS Cloud Documents link.
  5. If you leave it disabled, the file is sent as a local document.
  6. After sending, notify the recipient to review the shared content.

  • UI state: You can enter the partial-page sharing flow directly from the Home document list.
  • Next actions: You can choose between a WPS Cloud Documents link and a local document before sending.
